The Arca Gate collection
The next personal exhibition of the artist will be dedicated to Arca Gate, a collection currently under preparation.
“Arca”, arch in English, should not be interpreted under the stereotyped classical reference to the biblical figure of Noah but it should instead be extended to the concept of container, from the sarcophagus to the treasure chest, representing our environment.
“Gate” represents the boarding door or the arrival point. Therefore, in every work, the content of the box coexists with the anthropologic technique of destination, seen as the inevitable fate that is waiting for us due to the egotism of the dominant species of the planet: the human being.
The artistical exegetic draws from the ancient masters through citations of masterpieces correlated to wills determined by the final goal, often absorbing, as it stems from the approaching of the tipping point of the ecosystem balance.
The anthropologic technique, understood as a predominance of accumulation versus conservation, seeps out of every “Arce Gate” work, through chromatic choices lacking any shade of compromise.
